8 Weeks...

Here we are at 8 weeks pregnant.

I do not feel different than at 7 weeks, same misery of floating on a rocking boat at sea without saltine crackers. No real cravings to mention.. I actually had more "I must have right now" cravings before I was pregnant.

We did an ultrasound a couple of weeks ago and we saw our little gummy bear (as my 6 year old nephew put it. ..then went on to talk about how he'd like to eat the gummy bear.. now he's scratched off the baby sitting list) Im not sure Kurt will go for Gummybear Miklinski on the birth certificate.

So the tummy is feeling a bit more full, eating a whole plate of anything is difficult.

Cherry slurpees are on my mind but Kurt won't let me have anything with "that much sugar in it"..

My new phrase is "The baby's hungry" if Im dying for something to eat... however that is

a rare occasion since everything edible sounds repulsive right about now.

Going for another ultrasound in a few days.. : ) hope all goes well.

7 weeks.. 1st trimester blues

Here we are at 7 weeks.

Why do I feel like I look 7 months?

The culptrit is the  Progesterone in my body.

I honestly feel I must be producing enough for octuplets because this is ridiculous.

Nausea

Interesting that the word Nausea has the word Sea in it because I feel everyday

as if I am at sea.

I could swear I am on a boat rocking back and forth in the middle of the ocean.. hungover.

Ohh the joys of the first trimester : )

Smell...

Wow my sense of smell is quite amazing. I feel like I should contact the FBI or the Police 

and fill out an application. I know they could use my amazing skills of detecting a scent  from a mile away. In the case of an extra sensitive nose, it is estrogen to blame. This can make every little scent that wafts my way feel like an all out assault on my nostrils.  I have to say my sniffer is better than one of a bloodhound.

Is that what I think that is?... no.. it couldn't be.

Let me try another test....

Hmm maybe I should google First Response tests and see if faint lines are common mistakes for false pregnancies.
If your wondering.. Yes Im in a fancy restaurant's handicap bathroom taking the test. I guess you can say I couldn't wait!!..  Perfect place to check right before meeting a associate for a drink.

I was so tempted to ask people in the restaurant if they to saw the faint line and what that meant.
